Full Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer that will work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team throughout the life cycle of a program. The daily responsibilities will evolve as the current needs of assigned programs evolve and include requirements definition, design, analysis, technical data package development, manufacturing support, integration, and testing. You will have the opportunity to directly interface with customers on multiple fast paced programs in support of ARMY and other department of defense customers and directly contribute to the success of these programs.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will assist/lead the technical execution of projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams. You will work with both customers and internal program managers to define expectations, schedule, and goals on various projects. You will exercise knowledge and experience of advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) programs such as SolidWorks, CATIA (Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application), or PTC Creo to detail designs and preform required analysis to substantiate the airworthiness of developed solutions. In this role, you will be exposed to the entire design/development process and have the ability to influence program execution strategy.
Required
3ABET accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
3Minimum of 5 years experience performing engineering-related duties
3Background in Mechanical/Aerospace design and analysis
3Some travel
3Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

3Knowledge of DOD Technical Data Package practices and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Drawing Standards
3Experience with Classical and Finite Element Analysis Methods
3Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principals
