Core responsibilities:- Managing large and complex CAD assemblies
- Modeling Class A surfaces and boat interiors
- Owning hardware from start to finish, including specifications, design, prototyping, testing, and high-volume manufacturing
- Supporting the industrial design of next generation products
- Interfacing with suppliers and contractors
Basic qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Basic grasp of the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering
Bonus qualifications- Design for manufacturing experience with soft goods and composites fabrication
- Willingness to provide hands on support with fabrication and assembly
- Ability to articulate and defend design decisions
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Strong time management skills
- Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
- Enthusiasm for boating and the water
