Mechanical Engineer 2

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering with 1 year experience or equivalent education and experience
• Strong academic record (GPA of 3.0 or above)
• Proficient with CAD software for modeling complex parts
• Familiarity with engineering tools relevant to mechanical design
• Outstanding academic performance (GPA of 3.5 or above) preferred
• Internship or work experience in semiconductor packaging design is a plus
• Experience with mechanical systems troubleshooting is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop moderately complex mechanical designs for semiconductor packaging and electronics
• Manage entire semiconductor packaging and assembly process from concept to mass production
• Utilize CAD and perform FEA simulations for mechanical designs
• Participate in design reviews to enhance engineering designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for manufacturable designs
• Support product development through qualification and production release
• Estimate costs and timelines for mechanical design projects
