Mechanical Design Engineer-

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for design changes affecting mechanical equipment and fluid systems including tanks, pumps, valves, piping, filters, heat exchangers, contactors, and utility systems.

Duties:

  • Prepare mechanical calculations, equipment specifications, piping design inputs, and installation packages.
  • Support modifications to process equipment, piping systems, mechanical supports, and maintenance access features.
  • Evaluate pressure boundaries, equipment replacement requirements, material compatibility, and reliability impacts.
  • Coordinate with process, structural, electrical, and radiological engineering on system interfaces.
  • Support equipment selection, procurement inputs, installation support, and system turnover.
