Mechanical or Electrical Designer to support a leading engineering consulting firm specializing in MEP design projects across commercial, institutional, and mission-critical environments. This position is
onsite in
Baltimore, MD .
Responsibilities: - Develop mechanical or electrical system designs for commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.
- Create and modify engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications using design software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Perform calculations, system layouts, and equipment selections.
- Support project coordination efforts throughout design and construction phases.
- Review and update design documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical support for ongoing projects.
Required Qualifications: - 3-4+ years of experience in an MEP environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree or equivalent experience considered.
- High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience may qualify for senior-level roles.
- Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, or similar design software preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical design principles.
- PE license not required but highly valued.
- Stable work history with limited job hopping.
- No security clearance required.
Compensation: Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 (Designer), $100,000-$130,000+ (Engineer), flexible for PE candidates.
