Job Summary- Seeking an Agile Test Engineer to support Government test and evaluation activities in an Agile development environment
- The successful candidate will execute manual and automated test cases, analyze system requirements and operational concepts, develop test plans and procedures, perform data collection and analysis, and coordinate with other test organizations to support integrated T&E efforts
Primary Responsibilities- Execute approved test plans using manual and automated test cases
- Document and report test execution status, results, defects, and findings
- Analyze system requirements, system descriptions, and concept of operations documents to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures
- Prepare for and conduct test data collection and analysis
- Develop and maintain test cases, procedures, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with Government and external test organizations to support T&E program integration
- Support defect identification, retesting, regression testing, and release-readiness activities
- Work within Agile teams to integrate testing throughout the development lifecycle
- Use collaborative engineering and test-management tools to maintain requirements, test evidence, and execution status
Required Qualifications- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a science, mathematics, engineering, or related technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering
- At least nine (9) years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Experience executing manual and automated software tests
- Experience analyzing requirements and translating them into test plans, procedures, and test cases
- Experience collecting, analyzing, documenting, and reporting test results
- Experience working collaboratively across development, engineering, and test organizations
Desired Qualifications- Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, and TestRay / SynapseRT
- Familiarity with basic Linux tools and command-line utilities
- Experience with web browser-based testing tools such as Playwright and Selenium
- Experience with additional test tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, JMeter, and Swagger or similar API testing tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or DevSecOps environments
- Familiarity with automated regression, integration, API, and web application testing
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
165,000 - 185,000 USD per year (NBP)
