The role will report up within the materials engineering group and be based in Jupiter, FL.
Essential Functions:- Perform critical manufacturing support across a variety of aerospace components with experience on non-metallics and metallics
- Perform lab evaluations of metallurgical specimens leveraging tools such as optical and electron microscopy
- Update and enhance materials specifications and other program requirements
- Interface with the internal manufacturing team to support processing on-site
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:- Strong communication skills and experience delivering reports to internal and external customers
- Exposure to a variety of materials characterization techniques
- Exposure to chemical or industrial environments and appropriate safety practices
