Role summary:
The (USA) Master Plumber, Facility Services, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the safety and functionality of plumbing systems within facilities. This role involves diagnosing complex plumbing issues, designing solutions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. The position serves as a technical expert and mentor, providing guidance to maintenance teams and coordinating with contractors. The Master Plumber manages work orders, maintains documentation, and supports emergency response efforts while upholding safety standards and company policies to deliver high-quality facility services.
About the team:
The team strategically deploys licensed plumbing professionals to reduce external service needs across multiple sites. Members perform preventive maintenance and repairs using skills in plumbing, carpentry, and equipment handling. They manage schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Working collaboratively, the team addresses facility needs promptly, supports continuous improvements, and upholds company values through integrity and accountability. Their combined efforts maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained environments that enhance operational excellence and contribute significantly to the organization's success.
What you'll do:

  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and participate in on-call rotations as required.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise as a Master Plumber with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex plumbing issues, and execute major and minor repairs.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to design and plan large-scale repairs or modifications.
  • Experience leading and mentoring plumbing teams, providing technical guidance and training on safety and code compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, pressure testing, and operating material handling equipment.

The hourly wage range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
