As a Markets Investigative Data Scientist, you'll play a critical role in protecting market integrity by combining investigative analysis with AI and data science to support Nasdaq's Investigations and Enforcement program.

Design and build AI-powered solutions — including large language model applications, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and agentic workflows — to make investigations faster and more effective.
Partner with attorneys, surveillance analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to support active cases and deliver clear, well-reasoned investigative findings.
Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop and apply analytics, machine learning techniques, and data visualizations to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
This position will be located in Washington D.C., New York City, or Philadelphia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $96,000 - $163,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
