You will:- Lead a growing team of 5-6 junior and senior engineers to implement and scale Waymo's Marketplace Platform and Infrastructure
- Developing ML infrastructure for automatically training and deploying sophisticated optimization and prediction ML models to make real-time decisions for pricing, matching, and positioning.
- Developing experimentation, monitoring and analysis infrastructure for analyzing ongoing deployed models.
- Developing simulation infrastructure for all marketplace optimization and ML model development and evaluation
You have:- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience programming in backend coding languages
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Technical leader experience
- 3+ years of experience building productionized ML models
We prefer:- Experience in C++
- MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
- Prior experience building and deploying various ML models such as reinforcement learning
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
