Marketplace & Channel Growth Manager to support the growth and optimization of our third-party marketplace channels, including Instacart, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and future marketplace partners.
This is an
individual contributor role responsible for managing marketplace storefronts, optimizing digital merchandising and advertising performance, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional projects. This role will work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, IT, and Business Development teams to drive marketplace performance, identify new growth opportunities, and support key business initiatives across the organization.
What You'll DoMarketplace Management- Manage and optimize FreshDirect's storefronts across Instacart, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other marketplace platforms.
- Ensure product listings, assortment, pricing, imagery, and promotional content are accurate and optimized for performance.
- Execute marketplace advertising campaigns, sponsored placements, and promotional programs.
- Leverage marketplace algorithms, search optimization, and digital merchandising best practices to improve visibility, conversion, and sales.
- Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities to drive growth.
Project Management & Strategic Initiatives- Support cross-functional projects related to digital commerce, marketplace expansion, and business growth initiatives.
- Coordinate initiatives across Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Operations, and IT to ensure successful execution.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Support the implementation of new marketplace programs, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Operations, IT, and Business Development teams to support marketplace and channel growth initiatives.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities, support partnership initiatives, and help generate leads and growth opportunities for Sales and B2B teams.
- Serve as a key liaison across departments and external partners to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
What You'll Bring• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketplaces, digital commerce, project management, or a related field.
• Hands on experience with platforms such as Instacart, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Amazon Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, or similar.
• Understanding of marketplace advertising, promotions, digital merchandising, search optimization, and conversion drivers.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and research skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Grocery, retail, consumer goods, food delivery, or eCommerce experience preferred.
