Full Job Description
The Marketing and Content Specialist produces proposal content, award submissions and maintains NAC's content library across assignments within The Pursuit Studio. The role translates project data, technical write-ups, and firm content into polished proposal documents that support pursuit strategy and firm growth objectives.

Working within the production workflows and content standards established by the Director and senior Pursuit Studio I staff, and in close collaboration with the Proposal Champion and project teams, this position contributes to proposals from content collection through final submission and interview. The role requires strong writing and editing craft, reliable execution, disciplined content maintenance in OpenAsset, and the technical and editorial skills needed to grow toward senior level.

The position also has knowledge to support building AI-driven content management-related infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

Collaborating
• Coordinates with the Proposal Champion, design production, and all contributing writers throughout a pursuit.
• Receives feedback constructively and efficiently iterates proposal content and layouts.
• Reports progress throughout each pursuit and raises questions, risks, or timing concerns early.
• Works within the production workflows and content standards established by the Director and senior staff.
• Maintains organized working files and supports smooth handoffs, reviews, and final submission.

Proposal Production & Coordination
• Coordinates and produces proposal documents for assigned pursuits, managing content collection, writing and editing narratives, formatting layouts, and meeting submission deadlines.
• Contributes to the full proposal lifecycle from CRM-triggered pursuit initiation through final submission.
• Supports the use of standardized pursuit templates and a structured proposal approach built around the specific needs, priorities, and evaluation criteria of each pursuit.
• Engineers every proposal to align with what the client is looking for and to present NAC as the strongest possible choice.

Content Library & OpenAsset Management

• Identifies outdated content and updates it proactively in alignment with the AI-ready taxonomy and content standards.
• Contributes to the organization of NAC's technical and creative content under a growth-focused documentation hierarchy, so every project record, staff profile, and technical narrative is tagged, searchable, and structured for retrieval.

Awards & Interview Support
• Contributes to award submission production under the direction of senior staff or the Director.
• Supports interview preparation materials for shortlisted pursuits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, business, or a related field required.
