Position Overview
MyCare Medical is seeking an experienced, motivated, Board-Certified Primary Care Physician to serve in a dual role as a practicing physician and Market Medical Officer. This position combines direct patient care with clinical leadership responsibilities, supporting the performance of primary care providers across an assigned market. The Market Medical Director will play a key role in advancing our value-based care model by improving clinical outcomes, strengthening physician performance, enhancing patient experience, and promoting appropriate healthcare utilization.

Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited MD or DO accredited program.

Current CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Required Skills
Minimum of 10 years' experience in primary care, specifically in Managed Care settings servicing Medicare Advantage populations.
Strong understanding of value-based care, population health, and clinical quality improvement.
Demonstrated physician leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
Previous Medical Director or physician leadership experience preferred.
Proficient in EHR medical documentation
Proficient in HCC, ICD10 coding, MRA, and utilization management preferred.
Excellent bedside manners and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to staff and to build the trust and respect of patients, clinic staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
Must possess strong clinical skills, notably within managing patients with complex medical needs throughout all environments of care.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to engage respectfully and effectively across diverse audiences, apply emotional intelligence in complex situations, and maintain composure and professionalism in all interactions.
