What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors

OHM Advisors' Environmental & Water Resource Group is seeking a highly motivated Market Leader with a strong background in stormwater projects, including flood risk mitigation, stormwater conveyance, and stormwater quality. The Market Leader will grow OHM Advisor's brand in the Florida market and lead projects. Market growth includes development and execution of targeted business development strategies, including growing specific client relationships and actively participating in professional societies.

As a Market Leader, you will directly contribute to the planning, design, and construction of stormwater infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to function as a lead engineer and/or assistant project manager on complex sewer rehabilitation challenges.

Your Responsibilities
  • Generate leads and project opportunities in the local market. Work with the Business Development team to respond to RFP/RFQs.
  • Serve as Senior Project Manager with full technical responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution of tasks for small or larger projects. This includes leading 1D/2D hydraulic and hydrologic modeling projects and design of infrastructure, including pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, storage and treatment facilities, and other conveyance measures.
  • Work with OHM's Stormwater Practice Leaders across the company to support local growth and innovation.
  • Mentor staff and perform quality control for project deliverables, which will include contract documents (project manuals and plan sets), drainage and conveyance calculations, and written documents.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
  • Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on stormwater and water resources projects.
  • Experience with the modeling, design and construction of stormwater infrastructure projects. Modeling will include familiarity standard tools, including ICPR (1D/2D), HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with project management principles and practices.
