Job Description

As the Market Engagement Lead for Business Banking, you will lead a high-impact activation team that drives sales teams' understanding and adoption of the products, tools, and best practices needed to win new business, deepen client relationships, and accelerate revenue growth. You will turn business priorities into strategic market engagement plans with sales-ready messages, resources, and routines that help bankers know what matters, why it matters, and how to use it with clients. You will partner with Product, Sales, Communications, and Learning & Development leaders to create a consistent, repeatable approach for educating, engaging, and activating bankers focused on small business clients. The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator and persuasive influencer who understands how sales teams absorb information, what motivates banker action, and how to turn complex product information into clear, compelling content that drives adoption and results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand business priorities, banker education needs, and desired outcomes to ensure market engagement efforts drive adoption, sales execution, and measurable business results.
  • Develop and manage strategic market engagement roadmaps and delivery plans that align priorities, stakeholders, milestones, success measures, and follow-up.
  • Serve as a strategic consultant with Product, Sales, and field partners to identify adoption opportunities, clarify banker needs, and refine sales messages and resources to build banker belief, confidence, and action.
  • Use storytelling, sales insight, and influence to make complex information relevant, memorable, and motivating for frontline teams and leaders.
  • Reinforce adoption through success stories, recognition moments, and engagement tactics that encourage continued growth and participation.
  • Gather banker and sales leader feedback to identify what is working, where support is needed, and how strategies should evolve.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of market engagement efforts through feedback, adoption indicators, business outcomes, and stakeholder input.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
  • Two or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience building a new capability, standing up a team, or creating a repeatable operating model for strategy design, sales enablement, market engagement, field engagement, or banker readiness.
  • Knowledge of business banking products, sales processes, sales routines, banker or field team engagement, product launches, revenue campaigns, or client engagement strategies.
  • Experience driving behavior change, adoption campaigns, sales activation, or large-scale employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to bring creativity, urgency, energy, and a sales mindset to internal communications and enablement efforts.
  • Confidence working with senior leaders, frontline managers, and subject matter experts to shape messages that are credible, actionable, and easy for sales teams to use.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to connect enablement activity to sales execution, revenue generation, employee performance, and client outcomes.
  • Experience in sales enablement, field engagement, internal communications, change management, training, sales operations, or another role focused on helping sales teams perform.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to make complex information simple, relevant, and energizing for a sales audience.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build trusted partnerships, and align cross-functional teams around shared sales priorities.
  • Experience creating communications, tools, training materials, or resources that improve sales understanding, adoption, confidence, and performance.
  • Ability to move quickly, manage competing priorities, and execute with clarity, energy, and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with sales leaders, product partners, and other key stakeholders.

**The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.**
