You will be the Manufacturing Planner Sr (Level 3) for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for driving multiple program production planning, demand and supply planning, and ensuring seamless collaboration with multiple functions to meet business objectives.

What You Will Be Doing
  • As the Manufacturing Planner Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end production plans that keep our advanced programs on schedule. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for multiple programs.
  • Perform demand-and-supply analysis to anticipate material needs and mitigate bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations to align resources with program milestones.
  • Identify and resolve planning variances through data-driven root-cause analysis.
  • Communicate status updates and risk assessments to senior leadership and stakeholders.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start. Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline. Job Class : Manufacturing Job Category : Experienced Professional New/Replacement : New Basic qualifications (BQs) are the minimum requirements for a candidate to be considered for a position, 3 to 5 BQs are most effective.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline.
  • Strong experience in a Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) based operating system.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office- Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus (MFC Greenbelt certified or equivalent)
  • Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

  • MRP systems utilizing latest technology and processes
  • Integration of new systems and processes in to an operational organization

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration on Supply Chain, Operations Management or related discipline


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
