Job DescriptionYour Role at KIKAt KIK, we are seeking a driven Operations Manager with a passion for safety, quality, people leadership, and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across production, warehouse, and inventory functions while developing a strong team and driving accountability, productivity, and operational performance. You'll partner cross-functionally to solve challenges, improve processes, and ensure the operation consistently meets safety, quality, delivery, and production goals.
This position is scheduled Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:00/4:00 PM, with flexibility based on business needs and occasional weekend support during peak season. The salary range is $120,000-$130,000 annually, plus an annual bonus incentive. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.What You'll Do- Drive key departmental metrics related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, production, and reliability to ensure operational and budget goals are met or exceeded
- Lead day-to-day filling and packaging operations, including production planning, line performance, changeovers, center lining, operational cleaning, and operator-level preventive maintenance activities
- Lead key productivity and process improvement initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams and departments to support plant operating and strategic goals
- Oversee warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring material and finished goods availability aligns with production schedules, order requirements, and customer demand
- Provide operational oversight of Blow Mold production, ensuring adequate staffing and bottle availability while partnering with technical leadership to address downtime, equipment losses, and production needs
- Communicate and collaborate with Production Planning, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Customer Service, Order Management, Logistics, and HR regarding safety, quality, scheduling, delivery, capacity, staffing, inventory, and operational priorities
- Monitor production and equipment performance, identify operational losses and improvement opportunities, and drive rapid problem-solving and root cause analysis from the production floor
- Lead, coach, and develop employees while managing performance related to standard work, attendance, safety, quality, code of conduct, productivity, and overall job performance
- Support employee relations activities, including performance documentation, corrective action, employee counseling, investigations, and 30/60/90-day new-hire performance reviews, in partnership with HR
- Drive continuous improvement through waste and cost reduction, productivity improvement, standardized work, 5S, center lining, cleaning standards, and good manufacturing practices
- Ensure required daily, weekly, and end-of-shift operational reporting is completed accurately, including production, reliability, and inventory-related metrics
- Understand and identify EHS hazards, risks, and controls associated with site operations and activities while reinforcing a strong safety culture
- Develop employee capabilities through training, coaching, skill development, and clear communication of expectations and operational priorities
What You'll Bring- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably within high-speed filling, packaging, or process manufacturing environments
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing plant operations, including production line flow, filling and packaging equipment, changeovers, and operational processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability, develop employees, and effectively lead teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate expectations and work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and pivot quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with integrated/computerized manufacturing systems; SAP experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel
- Warehouse and inventory management knowledge or experience preferred
- Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, center lining, or CIL experience preferred
