Full Job Description
The Manufacturing Manager leads safe, quality-focused manufacturing operations while ensuring production goals are achieved efficiently and consistently. This role oversees secondary manufacturing processes and is responsible for production performance, labor utilization, frontline leadership, and operational problem-solving to support business objectives and customer requirements.

The Manufacturing Manager drives operational excellence by ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, optimizing productivity, coordinating staffing and resources, and meeting customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery. This position also leads continuous improvement initiatives, develops supervisors and production teams, and fosters a culture of accountability, efficiency, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Lead safe, quality-focused manufacturing operations while maintaining compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements, quality standards, company policies, and operational objectives. Direct overall manufacturing execution by monitoring production performance, managing workflow disruptions, and ensuring operational stability across assigned areas.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and manage supervisors and manufacturing employees to build accountable, high-performing teams. Ensure consistent execution of attendance management, performance expectations, workforce engagement, training, safety practices, and operational discipline.
  • Manage labor utilization and workforce effectiveness through staffing execution, crew size alignment, productivity improvement initiatives, and performance monitoring. Ensure labor resources are optimized to meet operational demands while minimizing non-value-added activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through implementation of lean manufacturing principles, standard work, waste reduction, line balancing, and efficiency-focused process improvements. Identify and resolve operational challenges that impact productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Maintain accountability for operational results through structured KPI reviews, corrective action implementation, and cross-functional collaboration. Partner with quality and operational leaders to support CAPA activities, process improvements, and resolution of manufacturing-related quality concerns.

What You'll Bring
  • Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing knowledge and training
  • 5+ years of experience in a production environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing Resource Planning systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including capability with spreadsheet, word processing, database, and e-mail software programs

Base Compensation Range: $88,200-$132,300 per year. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
