The Opportunity

As a Manufacturing Excellence Consultant, you will specialize in optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness within our Operations practice. You will work closely with clients to analyze product development lifecycles, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to enhance speed to market, reduce costs, and improve quality. Your role will involve providing guidance on implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing supply chain integration, and leveraging digital technologies to drive business performance.

As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. With your growing knowledge of business operations, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way, while embracing technology and innovation to enhance your delivery.

In this role at PwC, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engage in difficult conversations with clients and team members, and uphold professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing product development lifecycles to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for improvement
- Implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize supply chain integration and enhance operational efficiency
- Leading teams in the execution of product development and manufacturing projects, confirming timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Utilizing digital technologies to streamline processes and drive business performance
- Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and develop skills outside their comfort zones
- Conducting feasibility studies and market trend analysis to inform product strategy and positioning
- Managing project resources effectively to align with client expectations and business objectives
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to provide guidance and support in operational strategy
- Promoting the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices within manufacturing processes
- Conducting manufacturing cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
