CompositeBlue Origin is seeking an experienced Composite Focused Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and optimization of composite fabrication and assembly processes to support the production of our revolutionary space vehicles and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and continuously improve composite layup, curing, trimming, and finishing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and repeatability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, materials, and production to ensure seamless integration of composite components
- Analyze manufacturing data and recommend process changes to troubleshoot issues, reduce scrap, and meet or exceed performance targets
- Develop and validate new composite material systems, process models, and automation technologies to push the boundaries of what's possible
- Document manufacturing procedures, conduct training, and provide technical guidance to production technicians
- Stay abreast of the latest composite processing techniques, equipment, and quality standards in the aerospace industry
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in advanced composite manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace or high-performance industrial sectors
- Deep understanding of composite materials, design, and processing methods including autoclave, out-of-autoclave, and additive techniques
- Expertise in statistical process control, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

ToolingBlue Origin is seeking an experienced Tooling Focused Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and optimization of innovative tooling solutions to support the production of our revolutionary space vehicles and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, commission, and continuously improve specialized tooling for composite layup, bonding, assembly, and inspection processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, materials, and production to ensure seamless integration of tooling with manufacturing workflows
