This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Key Responsibilities:- Translating engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
- Identifying tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Providing shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Non-conformance report (NCR) generation, management, & closure.
- Supporting introduction of new products by crafting manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
- Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
Team Focus & Domain Expertise:We are seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer with a fluids background to support the design, development, and production of fluid system components and assemblies for our launch vehicles and engine programs. This role bridges fluid system engineering knowledge with hands-on manufacturing expertise to ensure our hardware is built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of fluid dynamics, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and propellant handling, combined with a passion for translating complex designs into repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes.

We are seeking a highly motivated
Manufacturing Engineer - Structures to join our team and play a critical role in the design, development, and production of aerospace structural hardware. In this role, you will bridge the gap between structural design engineering and production, ensuring that advanced metallic and composite structures are manufactured efficiently, affordably, and to the highest quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment where innovation and a bias for action are essential.
Minimum Qualifications:- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar:
Level III : 5+ years of experience
Sr. Level : 8+ years of experience - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:- Hands on experience with building flight hardware
- Experience with design, development or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellites.
- Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo or CATIA V5)
- Customer focused with a proven track record to work cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
