Manufacturing Engineer IIWe are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who is concerned with determining and implementing the optimal manufacturingmethods and process for producing company products efficiently.
Job Summary - Lead cross functional teams to support RCCA activities on CARs and DMRs.
- Support continuous improvement projects utilizing lean and six sigma tools.
- Design manufacturing processes, work instructions, and shop floor layouts.
- Create and update routing information (cycle times, notes, etc.).
- Support NPI teams with development of manufacturing processes and procedures for new products.
- Estimate labor hours for new and existing products.
- Train production personnel on the proper use and execution of tools, processes, and procedures.
- Design, test, and validate tooling and fixtures.
- Support production operations and personnel on technical issues.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, andsuppliers on projects on technical issues as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Working understanding of 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Experience leading cross functional teams on projects.
- Professional knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- CAD/CAM software experience (Solidworks, Mastercam, etc.).
- Working knowledge at an intermediate level of computer skills in e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Experience and Education - Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or
RelatedEngineering Field. - 3-5 years experience in a production environment, preferably with electromechanical, aerospace, and industrial applications.
Base Compensation: USD 95,000.00 - 110,000.00 Paid Salaried
