Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with DMAIC, DFSS, LEAN, PFMEA, and related methodologies
Experience in composite manufacturing and assembly processes
Proficient in GD&T and CATIA V5
Background in new product or business development
Experience in machine shop environments as a manufacturing engineer
Green Belt certification preferred

Full Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer designs and plans layout for such activities as machining/composite materials layout and assembly. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Plans for the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
