What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for improving sub assembly build processes and driving cost effective, high quality production for F 16 components.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support production operations by refining sub assembly processes, eliminating repetitive defects, and reducing unnecessary costs.
- Develop and modify manufacturing plans, interpreting engineering blueprints to support both production and prototype articles.
- Investigate and resolve non conformances through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Optimize machining strategies for CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components efficiently.
- Collaborate with quality, production, tooling, and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions and boost overall efficiency.

Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Basic Qualifications• Experience with F-16 Manufacturing / Assembly/ Production processes.
• Experience with gauge-controlled tooling concepts.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawing requirements.
• Experience supporting International Co-Production.
Desired Skills• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing and/or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college, a combination of education and work experience considered.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience with fabrication and assembly in a production environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills to drive issues to closure, develop workaround plans, and/or corrective action plans.
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment or independently to solve problems in a timely manner.
• Microsoft Office suite experience with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
