Responsible for maintaining and improving manufacturing process quality by identifying defects, controlling processes, analyzing quality data, and implementing corrective actions. Works directly with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve first-pass yield and prevent recurring quality issues.
Key Responsibilities- Experience with sheet metal, welding, stamping, bending, welding, fabrication, or powder coating.
- Develop and maintain process inspection plans, control plans, and quality checklists.
- Establish and monitor Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements.
- Perform in-process and process audits to verify manufacturing requirements are being followed.
- Analyze FPY, defects, scrap, rework, and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing defects.
- Support MRB, nonconforming material, containment, and rework activities.
- Use quality tools including 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, PFMEA, SPC, and 8D/CAPA.
- Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to implement error-proofing and process improvements.
- Verify corrective-action effectiveness and prevent recurrence.
- Support new or modified manufacturing processes through PFMEA, control plans, inspection requirements, and process validation.
- Support ISO 9001 requirements applicable to manufacturing quality.
- Maintain accurate quality records and reports.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing quality or quality engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with manufacturing process controls and inspection methods.
- Working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D/CAPA, and SPC.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with production teams.
Pay RangeUSD $105,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.

The base salary range for this full-time position is
$110,000- $120,000 per hour. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
