Full Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing CNC Technician, you will support machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and advanced manufacturing development. This role requires strong CNC programming expertise, handson mechanical capability, and the ability to support prototype and production operations. You will ensure highquality execution across all manufacturing processes while contributing to process improvements and technology development.

On-site in Jonesborough, Tennessee

Your Day-to-Day as a Manufacturing CNC Technician:
• Program CNC machines using SolidWorks-to-Mastercam workflows to fabricate high-precision parts.
• Support design model creation and manufacturing drawing alignment with CNC capabilities.
• Assist with fabrication, assembly, testing, and inspection of mechanical components and systems.
• Support development and qualification of advanced manufacturing technologies and new processes.
• Assist in the assembly and qualification of prototype and production equipment.
• Support equipment installation and prepare qualification reports.
• Maintain inventory of materials, components, and tooling.
• Support procurement and control of tooling and mechanical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC and shop equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and automated systems.
• Operate fork trucks, lifts, and various shop equipment safely.
• Perform inprocess and final inspections with Quality Control.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and laboratory environment.
• Perform additional engineering and manufacturing support tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical/electrical fabrication experience.
• Extensive background in computeraided machining and CNC programming.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and handson shop experience.
• Advanced manual machining skills.
• Knowledge of CNC systems (DMG Mori, Okuma, Haas, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE or DOD security clearance; active clearance preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with robotic manipulators, automated welding, or fiberoptic A/V systems.
• CAD experience.

Pay: $36.53 - $57.21

The starting hourly rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $36.53 and $57.21 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
