We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Labor Management Consultant to support the design, configuration, deployment, and optimization of Manhattan Associates Labor Management solutions within distribution and fulfillment environments.
This role combines deep operational expertise, engineered labor standards, and hands-on Manhattan platform experience to help clients maximize workforce productivity, improve labor planning, and drive continuous operational improvement across their distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead or support the implementation of Manhattan Associates Labor Management within warehouse and distribution operations.
- Conduct operational assessments to understand current labor processes, performance gaps, and productivity opportunities.
- Develop, configure, and validate engineered labor standards, preferred methods, and discrete standards within Manhattan LMS.
- Translate operational workflows into system configuration, including:
- Engineered standards setup
- Reason codes
- Incentive program design
- User roles and security
- Reporting and dashboards
- Partner with WMS and Operations teams to ensure LMS integrates seamlessly with Manhattan WMS and other supply chain systems.
- Support UAT planning, script development, execution, and defect resolution.
- Deliver training to supervisors, end users, and industrial engineering teams on LMS functionality and performance management processes.
- Analyze labor performance data to identify trends, validate standards, and recommend continuous improvement actions.
- Provide post-go-live stabilization support and ongoing optimization recommendations.
- Document functional designs, configuration decisions, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications:- 3-7+ years of experience in Labor Management Systems, preferably Manhattan Associates LMS.
- Hands-on experience with engineered labor standards, industrial engineering methods, or productivity engineering.
- Strong understanding of distribution center operations, workflows, and performance metrics.
- Experience participating in or leading LMS implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into system configuration and functional design.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or BI platforms).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across operations, IT, and vendor teams.
Preferrred Qualifications:- Experience with Manhattan Active® or WMOS-based LMS deployments.
- Background in industrial engineering, supply chain engineering, or operations consulting.
- Experience with Manhattan WMS, Slotting, or Labor Planning modules.
- Experience in grocery warehouse operations
- Prior consulting experience with supply chain technology or warehouse optimization.
