Job Summary
As a Manager, implement and manage Cemex's Third Party Truck Management Strategy and center - led management. Utilize a market focused approach that allows Cemex to build long-term Carrier relationships, collaboration, and performance management programs that support the Supply Chain strategic priorities for health & safety, service and quality, cost and cash management, sustainability, compliance, and people and talent development. Oversee all trucking related initiatives and programs related to Sustainability, compliance and Risk Management.
Job Responsibilities
Manage Carrier RFQ's, selection and vetting process.
Manage Carrier Strategic Route Guide and Zero- Cost based reporting.
Develop and monitor Carrier Scorecards (service, cost, safety)
Gather market intelligence to drive strategic decisions for RFQ's and Best practices.
Responsible for developing and monitoring Co2 emissions for 3rd party Carriers.
Lead Best Practices utilization of the Transportation Management System (TMS)
Implement Freight Payment Audit Solutions to reduce risk
Qualifications
10 or more years of experience in Transportation and or Supply Chain related roles
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, Procurement or Engineering
Bulk truck Transportation market and processes knowledge
End to End supply chain processes proficiency
Ability to understand transportation requirements and translate them into solutions.
Ability to apply End to End Supply Chain concepts.
Ability to manage data and develop concepts and information. (strong analytical skills)
Knowledge in SAP, TMS and Analytical tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlick sense)
APIC's certification or SCOR knowledge (a plus)
