Full Job Description
As a Manager, Transactions [Due Diligence] you will be making a difference by:
• Serve as the day to day lead on transactions engagements for financial and corporate strategic buyers from a variety of industries
• Provide hands-on experience with Quality of Earnings, working capital normalization, and net debt analysis
• Advise on financial aspects of SPAs / APAs, including deal mechanics and post-closing adjustments
• Ability to connect diligence findings to valuation, deal structuring, and investor decision-making
• Lead meetings and calls with clients and target management
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services.
• Manage business development activities, such as proposals, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership material
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Provision of timely, meaningful and critical feedback to clients to support their transaction decision
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to practice growth through client delivery excellence, thought leadership, and business development
• Leverage data analytics, visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and automation to enhance diligence insights, storytelling, and efficiency
• Partner with internal technology and innovation teams to experiment with advanced analytics, workflow automation, and emerging AI-enabled solutions in diligence
• Help evolve traditional FDD deliverables by incorporating interactive dashboards, data-driven visuals, and repeatable analytics where appropriate

• 2 plus years of transaction service experience in a professional services firm
• Sound technical background in financial accounting, tax and business performance analysis
• Understanding of M&A markets and trends
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Progression or attainment of a complementary designation such as an CPA, MBA, CBV or CFA is considered an asset
• Expertise in Microsoft suite of products, with a particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization and analytics tools is considered an asset

Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors-your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $97,000-$135,000 in Toronto. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
