The Manager Therapy Services provides operational, financial, and clinical leadership for rehabilitation services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This role oversees department operations, staffing, budgets, and program development while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Manager partners with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction, support regulatory compliance, and mentor therapy professionals in their growth and development.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Manage the department operations, resources, and staff to ensure quality patient care in accordance with hospital, department, and regulatory agency/policies/procedures.
  • Provide patient evaluation treatment within guidelines and hospital and department policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in use of all treatment units and provides therapy to patients.
  • Instruct staff to ensure the safe operation of equipment in accordance with department and manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Intervene as necessary in the event of unscheduled downtime to cancel, reschedule, or reassign patients and staff.
  • Document patient records clearly, concisely, and objectively.
  • Revise patient education material as appropriate.
  • Direct, control, and maintain assigned areas of operation.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree of Physical Therapy - Required - OR -
  • Bachelor's Degree of Occupational Therapy - Required - OR -
  • Master's Degree of Speech Therapy - Required - OR -
  • Doctorate Degree of Audiology - Required - AND -
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration or Business - Preferred
  • 3 years Therapy experience in field of specialization - Required
  • 2 years Supervisor/management - Preferred
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification - Required - AND -
  • Physical Therapist (PT) license - Required - OR -
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) license - Required - OR -
  • Audiologist (AUD) license - Required - OR -
  • Speech Pathologist (SPE) license - Required - AND -
  • American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) - Required
  • Certified as required by specialization - Preferred
