We are also responsible for tax planning, and forecasting. Further, we are responsible for determining the tax impacts of new transactions and acquisitions.
Partner with the bestIn this role you will manage all activities of the Company's International tax accounting function. You will foster and develop cross functional partnerships with Treasury, Legal, Finance, and Accounting. You will report to the Director of International Tax, and this role will manage a team based in Krakow.
As a Tax Manager , you will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the Company's international tax accounting function, including quarterly and year-end worldwide consolidated tax provisions per ASC740.
- Managing Pillar Two top-up tax and GloBE income calculations.
- Demonstrating working knowledge of complex income tax accounting concepts, including purchase accounting, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and accounting for deferred taxes.
- Interacting with stakeholders in Treasury, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and outside service providers to ensure tax provisions are completed timely.
- Overseeing and managing preparation of international statutory tax provisions.
- Monitoring and analyzing tax regulatory and compliance developments, accounting pronouncements, and tax law changes, and determining the impacts to the Company.
- Being responsible for tax internal controls and SOX compliance.
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
- Be a certified public accountant and/or have an MST (or equivalent).
- Have a minimum of 6 years of corporate tax experience within Big 4 public accounting and/or in-house tax departments.
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of US GAAP ASC 740 and SEC regulations.
- Have extensive experience managing international income tax provisions.
- Possess written, presentation, and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
- Have experience with Oracle and OneSource Tax Provision, or similar software solutions.
CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $108,600 - $195,400/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
