Our Team, Your ImpactThe role of the Specialty Pharmacy Account Manager (SPAM) is to support and maximize access to Company specialty brands, Bio-similars, and complex generics through the development of relationships with Specialty Pharmacy partners and key accounts, including IDNs and Healthcare Systems. The SPAM will engage with our Specialty Pharmacy partners to achieve and exceed stated goals and objectives. The SPAM will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the brand teams, field sales, new product launch teams, patient services teams, distribution partners and market access. The SPAM will be a subject matter expert on Teva's portfolio of specialty brand products, Bio-similars, complex generics, our new product pipeline, as well as pricing, payer coverage policies and processes. The SPAM will support the launch plan and execution for New Products in Specialty Pharmacies. This includes working with Legal to establish contracts and assist with the implementation and integration into any HUB relationships as appropriate, as well as the REMS Team to establish and execute appropriate product REMS guidelines.

• Evaluate and manage our specialty pharmacy partners within our distribution networks on an ongoing basis.
• Partner across the Innovative Medicines Commercial matrix to keep all partners abreast of the IM portfolio pharmacy reimbursement landscape - understand specific reimbursement dynamics of Teva's IM portfolio
• Develop and maintain relationships with our current specialty pharmacy partners
• Cultivate new relationships with other key specialty pharmacy executives, decision-influencers, and decision makers.
• Demonstrate functional expertise in product reimbursement, market access, medical and pharmacy benefit investigation.
• Communicate compliantly with field sales, corporate office employees, HCPs, and network pharmacies to help identify and resolve coverage and patient access challenges
• Provide liaison services between Market Access, the brand teams, Sales, Patient Services and Trade to develop effective strategies relating to pharmacy engagement.
• Identify market opportunities to uniquely position Teva products based on customer/market needs.
• Communicate regularly to management regarding opportunities and challenges related to patient access
• Develop, maintain, and demonstrate broad healthcare market expertise.
• Plan, lead, and execute Innovative Medicine Specialty Pharmacy business reviews.
• Understand and articulate Corporate narrative and brand value propositions across relevant stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance standards are maintained with all interactions at all times
• Demonstrate functional expertise in IM product reimbursement, market access and pharmacy benefit investigation.
• Communicate compliantly with IM field sales and marketing leadership, IM Specialty Pharmacy Account Managers, corporate office employees and network pharmacies to help identify and resolve coverage and patient access challenges
• Posses a deep understanding of the IM business priorities and market trends
• Conduct QTR account reviews with IM, Bio-similar, and Specialty Generics Leadership Teams.
Territory includes: Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico
Your Skills and ExperienceAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical industry/institutional/trade and/or Specialty Pharmacy
- Experience in Specialty Pharmacy Space/Trade preferred
- Account Management experience preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately up to 50% travel is required.
Salary RangeThe annual starting salary for this position is between $137,520 - 171,900 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan, which rewards employees based on their achievement of defined sales targets and adheres to the plan's established guidelines.
