Job DescriptionPurposeAs an Aftermarket Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of direct reports, overseeing their performance, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. You will report to the Director, Customer Enablement and your role will be pivotal in delivering growth through service contract renewals, contract additions, and other after-market products.
Location: On site in our Shelton, CT office
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed sales targets and other KPIs including renewal rates, new unit additions, and warranty conversions for a $100 million business
- Partner with the broader service team to expand the contract base by adding new contracts with 20% of time devoted to new business
- Set team direction and create action plans to deliver results
- Forecast sales results, track leading KPIs, and lead funnel management process
- Analyze areas for improvement and guide the business in change management
- Work closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territory
- Coach and manage performance of 13 inside sales representatives
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships to drive growth opportunities by 10%+
- Develop training plans to drive better product knowledge, cross functional collaboration, and customer engagement

Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of sales experience in Business-to-Business sales
- 5+ years of management experience in a growth driven sales team
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results orientated mindset with a proven ability to deliver against target
- Demonstrated success in sales and account management in a large revenue environment
- Ability to commute and work in Shelton CT Office
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Characteristics- Advanced degree or relevant experience
- Salesforce experience
- Relevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry
- Ability to develop trusted customer partnerships for account growth
- Contract and service sales leadership
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively, prioritize appropriately and adapt to changes and work schedule
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $120,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
