POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Manager, SCM Process Innovation drives business process optimization and operational excellence across SAP and related enterprise systems. Acting as a strategic bridge between U.S. business stakeholders, HQ Korea SAP development teams, and global IT partners, this role translates complex business requirements into scalable, compliant ERP solutions.

This position is central to aligning local business needs with global ERP standards while ensuring data integrity, process standardization, and SOX-compliant governance. The ideal candidate brings deep SAP SCM functional expertise, strong cross-cultural communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level improvements.

This position will be based in Irvine, CA with 10% of travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze current SCM business processes and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices and organizational objectives.


  • Lead discovery workshops to surface inefficiencies and define requirements across complex, cross-functional processes.


  • Document current-state (as-is) and design future-state (to-be) process flows that support business goals and global ERP standards.


  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and data integrity.


  • Perform root cause analysis and implement scalable, sustainable corrective solutions.


  • Serve as the functional subject-matter expert for core SAP SCM and related processes, including Order-to-Cash (O2C) - SD/LE modules, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) - MM module, Record-to-Report (R2R) - finance integration


  • Lead the development and global deployment of SAP SCM templates and standardized process frameworks.


  • Ensure seamless integration and consistency across SCM-related SAP modules and third-party systems (e.g., sales order management, procurement tools).


  • Act as the primary liaison between U.S. business stakeholders and SAP development teams at HQ Korea.


  • Translate business needs into precise functional and technical specifications for global development teams.


  • Coordinate global solution design, balancing HQ standards with local business requirements.


  • Lead or support end-to-end SAP implementation and enhancement projects from design through post-go-live stabilization.


  • Coordinate cross-functional activities including UAT, integration testing, and production deployment.


  • Develop key project deliverables: process flows, test cases, SOPs, and training materials.


  • Drive change management and user adoption strategies to ensure successful transitions.


  • Ensure all SAP processes comply with SOX, ITGC, and internal control requirements.


  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and actively support internal and external audit requests.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

COMPENSATION:

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is:

  • Zone 1 (Bay Area, NYC): $146,200-$182,600


  • Zone 2 (CA, NJ, NY): $134,000-$167,000


  • Zone 3 (All others): $121,000-$152,000


The applicable salary range is based on the employee's primary work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other business-related factors.
