At DaVita, our mission is to be the provider, partner, and employer of choice! As a key member leading our team of Analysts, you will play a critical role in collaboration with teams across our Revenue Operations department for developing analysis deep dives and action plans, bulk remediation and tracking projects, teammate growth and development, improving yield and efficiency, and supporting our insurance and internal partners. This includes but is not limited to developing and supporting strategic recommendations across the team and department in key focus areas, such as revenue strategy, process improvements, and operations innovations driven by numbers. Much of the role will be focused in employee growth and development, strategy, efficiency and efficacy creation, and innovation.  The role has a high level of visibility with senior leadership given as our team supports the highest impact issues, requires cross-functional collaboration, and overall ability to impact the bottom line. The right candidate will be expected to: 1) Develop people 2) effectively create and communicate key messages from analysis to propose and support partners in driving efficiencies 3) drive and lead projects start to finish.  

The Revenue Operations Analytics Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities within DaVita’s revenue cycle, in collaboration with teams across the company, to grow DaVita’s revenue and improve bottom-line performance within our Revenue Operations team (ROPS). The ROPS Analytics Manager is responsible for interacting with team leaders at all levels of the organization to develop, manage, evaluate, and make recommendations on projects that impact ROPS workforce, planning, and strategy.

Essential Function: 

Team Development & People Leading Duties

  • Provide daily supervision, direction, mentoring, coaching, performance management and teammate relations monitoring; escalate to Sr. Manager, as necessary. 
  • Monitor performance results to evaluate compliance, quality, production, and effectiveness of Analyst deliverables
  • Understand and communicate DaVita company policies and procedures. 
  • Build effective and engaging learning content and other tip sheets or job aids for new policies and new or existing processes that will be utilized by the teammates. 
  • Support, communicate, and ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved. 
  • Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams. 
  • Assist Sr. Manager with teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations, timeclocks/PTO, and disciplinary action as required. 
  • Write and conduct teammate annual Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and host career conversations as required. 
  • Maintain teammate records in compliance with DaVita policies and any applicable laws. 
  • Know, understand, and follow DaVita teammate guidelines as well as local safety and security policies and procedures. 

Reporting & Administration 

  • Gather sensitive reports, metrics, and communication 
  • Proactively provide updates and recommendations within executive presentations 
  • Measure and evaluate results to determine the direction of projects and resources 
  • Pull robust data sets and process maps when applicable
  • Stay up to date on the technology innovations and relay appropriate messaging and training to the team

Program & Project Management 

  • Lead or actively participate in special projects. 
  • Serve as a liaison between the data analytics team and other departments to ensure business needs and performance metrics are met in an efficient and effective manner. 
  • Support the analytics team manager via business acumen and technical knowledge. 
  • Meet tight deadlines in a time sensitive and resource constrained project environment. 
  • Provide frequent updates to manager regarding the status of activities and initiatives. 
  • Assist with CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects or other efforts designed to improve effectiveness/efficiency of the business. 
  • Select and manage resources to accomplish project objectives 
  • Identify and influence strategic business relationships, internally and externally, between ROPS leadership teams 
  • Set priorities and direction for projects 
  • Perform root cause analysis on large amounts of datasets and create detailed reports for strategic business issues and opportunities

  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as scheduled or needed

Qualifications: 

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field of study
  • 3-4+ years in analytics
  • 3+ years in people management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Strong leadership coaching and teammate development skills.
  • Advanced skills in all Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Teams 
  • Effective training and presentation skills 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, including active listening & curiosity, across all teammate populations 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; Ability to build and leverage relationships across all areas of the organization.
  • Critical thinking, decision making, excellent executive presence.

Work Environment:   

Level II – Low to Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic).  No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor.  The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions.

The Salary Range for the role is $78,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
