Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Manager, Retail Planning & Inventory, Tim Hortons, Canada. This individual will lead Demand Planning & Inventory Management for the Tims Retail Merchandise business across all sales channels including Tim Hortons Brick & Mortar Restaurants, Ecommerce (TimShop.ca), and Wholesale accounts. As an important member of our growing Tims Retail business, you will help execute omnichannel planning processes that support sales growth, product availability, and inventory efficiency.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in forecasting and inventory planning who brings a hands-on approach and sound business judgment. You will work closely with Category and Channel Managers to develop forecasts, monitor inventory performance, and recommend actions that support business objectives. You will also contribute to improvements in planning tools and processes as the Retail business evolves.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead SKU level forecasting for new Retail collection assortments, promotions, markdowns, and inventory replenishment buys, using sales history, program assumptions, and input from Category and Channel Managers
- Develop inventory allocation recommendations for Tim Hortons restaurants and adjust allocations by program to support sales, sell-through, and franchisee profitability
- Manage inventory and product lifecycle performance across channels by tracking in-season sell-through, post-promotion sales rates, markdown performance, and distribution centre stock levels; flagging risks and recommending corrective actions
- Recommend replenishment buys, clearance and discounting actions, and other measures to address inventory risks; coordinate execution of approved actions with cross-functional partners.
- Track and analyze planning KPIs, including inventory turns, shrink, residual stock mix, forecast accuracy, and margin performance, and provide regular reporting and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and reporting and support the evaluation and implementation of new tools and systems.
- Represent the Retail Team in Supply Chain discussions with vendors. Monitor inbound deliveries and flagging potential risks and own program readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Category and Channel Managers, Visual Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, and Restaurant Owners to align forecasts, inventory plans, and program execution.
Required Skills:
- Post-secondary degree with 3-5 years of Retail industry experience in Demand Planning and Inventory Management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills along with experience in SAP, Business Objects, Tableau, or comparable Business Intelligence software tools is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate sales and inventory data into practical business recommendations
- Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners by presenting data, insights, and recommendations clearly
- You’re resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment with ability to drive projects forward with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
Base salary range of $105,000 – $130,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity grants pursuant to the Company’s long-term incentive plan.
