Full Job Description
Position Overview
This role manages supervisors and professional SREs to deliver reliability, availability, and performance outcomes for mission-critical services. Owns a domain SLO framework, reliability roadmaps, and incident/DR playbooks; drives automation to reduce toil and increase engineering leverage. Builds cross-functional alignment with product/dev/security on reliability requirements in design and releases.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to deliver outstanding service.
  • Oversee design/operation of scalable, reliable infrastructure and ensure proactive monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
  • Implement and govern SLO/SLI practices and error-budget policies with product/engineering.
  • Own BC/DR strategy and validation for owned services and ensure audit-ready evidence of tests.
  • Drive automation (IaC, config-as-code) and deployment safety (canary/blue-green).
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Handle escalated and complex issues and resolving promptly to maintaining excellence.
  • Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, including data security and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverages influencing and negotiation skills across the enterprise to achieve business goals, cost-effective and innovative shared solutions.
  • Partners with leadership team to develop people priorities and plans, that align with organizational strategies.
  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

In-office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.

Base Salary Range
$135,200.00 - $185,900.00

The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
