Position Overview:
Manages the overall operations of the department including strategic planning, development, implementing, budgeting, productivity, scheduling, monitoring activities and supervision of all staff. Ensures the department is operating within the standards and expectations of the administration, state and federal regulatory agencies, and the medical staff in the provision of services as they fit into the patient care requirements. Develops technical policies and procedures for the cross functional groups.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
Other: Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited AMA program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
8 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of planning, therapy and quality assurance in radiation therapy treatments, including physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs of patients and families.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results.
Demonstrates ability to work/interact with a diverse population while respecting cultural and linguistic differences and fostering an inclusive work environment.

Pay Range is $183,643.20 to $293,841.60 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
