What you'll doAs the Manager, Project Steering, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of serial production activities across Scout Motors. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and optimize production planning strategies, drive process improvements, mitigate operational risks, and ensure alignment with program timing, quality, and performance objectives. Through strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and operational excellence, you will help establish scalable planning processes that support stable production launches and long-term manufacturing success.

- Serve as a key leader in the serial scheduling steering team
- Development and creation of a serial planning control strategy in coordination with adjacent departments
- Monitor and implement key performance indicators and specifications of various departments
- Development and control of serial planning control processes using new technologies
- Maintain and create overall processes and workflows for all departments of serial planning
- Coordinate all valuation requests and drive the consolidation of the Serial Planning departments
- Management of the overall concept for risk management within series planning
- Develop Project Management Team according New Project / Serial Planning activities
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC or Novi, Michigan.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical, economics engineering, or related fields
- 7+ years of professional experience in automotive production, with expertise in achieving stable production processes and in-depth knowledge of project steering operations
- 5+ years of progressive experience building and managing planning teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay TransparencyThis is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $120,000.00 - $145,000.00
