Full Job Description
Position Overview

We are seeking a high-velocity, sales-driven Programmatic Sales Manager to accelerate top-line revenue across our programmatic direct media offering.

In this role, you will focus on high-impact, macro-level demand: building strategic relationships with Agency Holding Company programmatic leadership, Agency Trading Desks, DSP/SSP demand teams, and Retail Media partners. You will own the growth of our overall Programmatic Direct Revenue, while serving as the primary programmatic sales strategist co-selling alongside our Account Executive (AE) team.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment with a seller mindset, uncovering hidden spend in data, overcoming technical buyer objections, and converting open-market demand into high-margin commitments, this role is built for you.
What You'll Do
1. Central Programmatic Growth & Business Development
  • Agency Leadership Strategy & Evangelism: Prospect and build top-to-top relationships with Agency Programmatic Leadership and Trading Desks to establish marketplace deals, lead educational sessions, and position our mobile in-app ecosystem, audience, and programmatic capabilities as a core media buy.
  • DSP, SSP & Retail Media Growth: Own demand-side growth across DSPs, SSPs, and Retail Media networks, educating their commercial teams on our inventory and driving inclusion in custom buyer packages.
  • Curated Demand Packaging: Partner with Sales Marketing, Yield, and Operations to build proactive, data-driven programmatic packages (seasonal, audience-targeted, high-impact video) to bring directly to agency buyers.
  • Win-Rate & Revenue Optimization: Continuously monitor deal win rates, floors, and cleared spend in platforms to ensure activated Deal IDs translate into actual cleared revenue.
2. AE Programmatic Enablement & Co-Selling
  • Deal Mechanics & Co-Pitching: Serve as the programmatic deal expert for the Direct Sales team, joining key client meetings, navigating buyer tech objections, and structuring winning deal terms.
  • Pipeline Strategy: Run targeted 1:1 sessions with AEs to identify programmatic opportunities within their key accounts and establish clear action plans to unlock budget.
  • Commercial RFP Strategy: Support high-value programmatic RFP/RFI responses, framing our in-app audience and ad products in compelling, high-converting commercial terms.
Who You Are
  • 5+ Years in Digital/Mobile Ad Sales with at least 3+ years dedicated to pure programmatic sales (PMP, PG, Preferred Deals) in an in-app, mobile, or video environment.
  • Proven Closing Track Record: Documented history of personally driving pipeline growth, hitting revenue quotas, and securing mid-to-large programmatic commitments.
  • Active Agency, DSP, SSP Network: Existing, strong working relationships across Agency Trading Desks, HoldCo programmatic leads, DSP and SSP demand teams.
  • Data-Driven Hunter: Strong quantitative skills with the ability to mine platform performance data, spot buying trends, and translate analytics into actionable pitches.
  • Collaborative Sales Mindset: Strong team player who excels at co-selling and navigating matrixed sales environments alongside territory AEs.
  • Curious innovator: Genuinely energized by where digital advertising is headed (agentic buying, identity graphs, etc.) and eager to build fluency as the landscape shifts.
