Manager, Process Management
As a Manager, Process Management within Network Risk Operations, you will lead and support initiatives focused on improving how teams work through process improvement, actionable insights, technology enablement, and scalable solutions. You will partner to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and determine the right approach—whether through process changes, reporting and analytics, digital tools, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, or end-user enablement.
You are a highly adaptable leader who can flex across priorities and capabilities as business needs evolve. You are comfortable operating at the intersection of operations, process, data, and technology, bringing structure to ambiguity and translating business needs into practical solutions that enable implementation and adoption.
General ResponsibilitiesLead complex operational initiatives and capabilities spanning process improvement, reporting and insights, technology enablement, and scalable business solutions.
Partner with operational teams to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and translate needs into actionable recommendations and practical solutions.
Leverage data, process knowledge, and stakeholder input to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
Determine the appropriate solution based on the business need, including process improvements, reporting and dashboards, digital tools, automation, AI-enabled solutions, or enablement strategies.
Identify opportunities to develop reusable and scalable solutions that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and can be leveraged across operational teams.
Support the development and evolution of reporting, metrics, dashboards, and analytical solutions that improve visibility and decision-making.
Partner across Process Management, Project Management, Data Analytics, Technology, Product, Risk and Operations to move solutions from concept through implementation and adoption.
Evaluate emerging technologies and capabilities and identify practical opportunities to apply them within operations.
Establish appropriate structure, prioritization, governance, and controls to ensure solutions are sustainable and aligned with business needs.
Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving business needs.
Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders and senior leaders to drive alignment and results.
Communicate complex information clearly and concisely, including recommendations, risks, progress, decisions, and business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Military Experience
At least 3 years of experience in Process Management, Risk Management, or Business Analysis
At least 2 years of experience in Project management
At least 1 year of experience using Google AI tools
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Process management
At least 4 years of experience in Project Management or Technology Enablement
Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $134,400 - $153,300 for Manager, Process ManagementRichmond, VA: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management
New York, NY: $146,600 - $167,300 for Manager, Process Management
Riverwoods, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management
Chicago, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
