As a Process Manager within Capital One, you will work with extended teams across the organization to manage and improve your processes, meet our commitments, and continuously improve.

Leading and owning oversight of process improvement work and collaborating with teammates on larger initiatives
Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities
Tracking and resolving process breakdowns
Understanding customers’ needs of the process and driving process improvements
Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams
Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions
Want to “dabble in data”? Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Military experience
2+ years of Risk Management, Compliance or Risk Controls experience
2+ years of experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) or Tableau
2+ years of experience with data management, reporting and analytics
1+ years of experience using Lean & Six Sigma tools and methodology
1+ years of experience working with Technology and Data teams, including tracking data and reporting on key performance indicators
BPM, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $108,900 - $124,300 for Principal Process ManagerRichmond, VA: $98,900 - $112,900 for Principal Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
