Description:The Academic Teaching Centre Clinic Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of family medicine while ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Reporting to the Family Medicine Department Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a dynamic academic family medicine teaching centre, supporting a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff in a collaborative, patient-centred environment. This is an opportunity to influence both healthcare delivery and medical education by working closely with staff, physicians, learners, Primary Care Networks, and community partners. You will drive operational excellence, lead quality improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory care, primary care, or academic healthcare environments. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience with budgeting, workforce planning, performance management, and operational planning. Knowledge of quality improvement, patient safety, accreditation, occupational health and safety, and risk management principles. Strong communication, relationship management, conflict resolution, and change management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead programs, projects, and operational initiatives. Active clinical registration.
