Graduate of an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy required.
3 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
Previous experience and/or training in pharmacy computer systems required.
Management experience preferred.
Registered Pharmacist licensed in the State of Georgia upon hire required.

Required Hours: Monday-Friday, day shift, some weekend / holiday / evenings / nights based on dept needs.
Responsibilities
Assists the Director of Pharmacy in ensuring that the pharmacy provides superior services, exceeds all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements, and follows all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the hospital for the storage and preparation of pharmaceuticals. Ensures that patient care remains uninterrupted, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Responsible for the management of pharmacy staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and improvement. Oversees and monitors all daily unit dose operations and all daily IV room and OR/ICU Satellite activities. Performs all duties of a Staff Pharmacist as needed.
