Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Operations Performance, is accountable for owning and advancing SE Health's operational performance and financial management reporting infrastructure. The Manager acts as the architect and facilitator of standardized performance and financial reporting, ensuring consistent KPI definitions, enterprise reporting cascades, disciplined performance review cadences, and C-suite ready reporting products. Working in partnership with operations leaders, the Manager supports the annual budgeting cycle, variance analysis, root cause analysis and action planning to drive performance against measurable targets. By aligning operational and financial performance metrics to organizational priorities and strategic outcomes, the Manager enables leadership to move from reporting to insight and action.

ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Operational Performance Management & KPI Governance:
    • Define, standardize, and govern enterprise and Lines of Business (LoB) level operational KPIs, ensuring clarity, comparability, and alignment to organizational goals.
    • Design and maintain KPI cascades across Lines of Business to support performance visibility at executive and operational levels.
    • Lead regular performance reviews, enabling leaders to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
    • Monitor performance outcomes, identify root causes of variance, and support corrective action planning.
  • Financial Performance & Variance Management:
    • Partner with Finance and Lines of Business to support operational budgeting, financial performance monitoring, and variance analysis.
    • Enable consistent financial reporting frameworks that link operational drivers to financial outcomes.
    • Support leaders in understanding financial performance drivers, risks, and trade-offs while maintaining financial discipline and transparency.
  • Standardized Business Reporting & Executive Readiness:
    • Design and maintain standardized business review frameworks, including templates, materials, and reporting cadences.
    • Produce executive-ready, decision-focused reporting materials that translate complex data into clear insights.
    • Ensure consistency in reporting language, definitions, and interpretation across the enterprise.
  • Data & Reporting Enablement:
    • Translate business performance needs into data and reporting requirements in partnership with Data Science and Business Intelligence teams.
    • Ensure reporting products deliver actionable insights, usability, and confidence in data quality
    • Critically assess data assumptions, limitations, and quality to ensure appropriate interpretation and decision-making.
  • Issue Escalation, Resolution & Governance
    • Define escalation paths, thresholds, and governance mechanisms for performance and financial risks.
    • Track critical issues to resolution, ensuring accountability across stakeholders without direct authority.
    • Support cross-functional problem solving and alignment across Operations, Finance, and enabling functions.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in operational performance management, financial performance management, enterprise reporting, or closely related roles.
  • PMP, PgMP, or Prosci certification considered an asset


ADDITIONAL SKILLS / CORE CAPABILITIES
  • Strong expertise in operational and financial performance management, including KPI design, normalization, and target setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver clear, executive-ready performance and financial reporting and insights.
  • Advanced data analysis, interpretation, and data quality assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across cross-functional, matrixed environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt approaches to different audiences.
  • Strong partnership capability with Finance, Operations, and Data & BI teams.
  • Experience using Power BI or comparable enterprise reporting tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • High degree of analytical rigor, clarity, and standardization discipline


This is a hybrid role, mainly remote and is based out of our Markham head office located at 90 Allstate parkway. Travel to the office to be required as needed

The total compensation for this position is $87,000 - $108,000. The compensation offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies, taking into consideration internal equity.
