What will your typical day look like?As a Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering comprehensive accounting services to a diverse range of clients. Your focus will be on leading end-to-end accounting operations, managing teams, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of financial reporting. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and executing month-end and year-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Supervising and coaching accounting teams, managing workload allocation, and supporting talent development
- Reviewing and finalizing financial statements and reports for clients, ensuring all deliverables meet high quality standards and deadlines
- Maintaining the integrity of accounting systems and data, and ensuring robust internal controls are in place
- Managing client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on accounting and financial matters
- Leading process improvement initiatives, including the implementation of new technologies and automation to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements for clients
- Supporting ERP system implementations and enhancements (NetSuite is a strong asset)
- Managing multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and effective completion of client engagements
- Contributing to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing within the team

Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are an experienced accounting leader with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Holds a Canadian CPA
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate controllership or accounting leadership roles
- Proven experience supervising and managing accounting and finance teams, including coaching and talent development
- Strong technical accounting skills and deep understanding of GAAP
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger management
- ERP systems experience and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Experience with finance transformation or process improvement initiatives is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills; fluency in French and English is an asset
- Advanced proficiency in MS 365(Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Client service mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Previous experience working in public practice is an asset
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
