Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Rehab Services assists in managing the Rehabilitation Therapy Department (PT, OT and ST) to achieve department goals. Supervises employees, assists with schedules, technical procedures, quality assurance, staff development/education, and regulatory agency compliance. The Rehab Department Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Manager is responsible for the hiring, termination, scheduling, counseling and evaluating therapy personnel. May have responsibility for the assessment, treatment and/or care of patients of all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. The Manager works with senior management in meeting facility goals and will be responsible to maintain the department in the Director's absence. The Manager promotes a positive working environment and motivates staff to perform to the best of their abilities. May have other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Texas license - (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist, or (OT) Occupational Therapist, or (SLP) Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Must have 7 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation therapy field; 5 years supervisory/management experience.
