Full Job Description
About the Role
The Manager of Product Education owns the strategy, content, and delivery of Decisions training for customers, partners, and new employees. You will lead a team of instructional designers and trainers, reporting to the Chief Product Officer.
You will turn a powerful, fast-moving platform into clear learning paths, hands-on labs and certifications. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing so education ships alongside every release.
What you'll do
• Lead and grow the team. Hire, coach, and set priorities for instructional designers
and trainers; run planning, reviews, and career development.
• Own the curriculum. Build and maintain role-based learning paths (builder,
administrator, developer, partner) across self-paced courses, labs and live sessions.
• Run certification. Manage the Decisions certification program, including exam
design, item quality, pass-rate analysis, and renewal as the platform evolves.
• Keep pace with the product. Work with Product and Engineering to plan education
for each release so training is ready when features ship.
• Deliver great live training. Oversee instructor-led workshops, partner enablement
and in-person events, and teach sessions yourself when needed.
• Onboard new employees. Partner with HR and department leads on platform
onboarding for new hires across technical and customer-facing teams.
• Manage the learning stack. Own the LMS, authoring tools, and SCORM content,
keeping courses on-brand, accessible, and current.
• Maintain product documentation. Own the documentation articles and the
systems behind them, keeping content accurate, searchable, and updated with each
release.
• Measure impact. Track enrollments, completions, certifications, CSAT, and links to
adoption and support volume; report results to leadership.
• Support go-to-market. Contribute education content for marketing, analyst
briefings, and customer-facing launches.
What you bring
• 5+ years in technical training, product education, or enablement for a B2B software
product.
• 2+ years managing people, ideally a team of instructional designers, trainers, or
both.
• Hands-on experience building courses with adult learning principles and
instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM.
• Comfort learning complex technical products quickly and explaining them to both
technical and business audiences.
• Experience running an LMS and authoring tools (for example Docebo, Articulate
Rise or Storyline) and working with SCORM packages.
• Strong facilitation skills, in person and virtual.
• Clear writing and the judgment to prioritize when Product, Sales and Support all
need something at once.
Nice to have
• Experience with low-code or no-code platforms, workflow automation, rules
engines or BPM.
• Background designing or running a certification program.
• Familiarity with integrations, APIs, databases or AI agents.
• Experience with partner or channel enablement.
• Experience planning hands-on training events or user conferences.
