About the RoleCrusoe Cloud is standing up a dedicated logistics and asset management function to support rapid growth across our global production footprint. The Manager, Logistics & Asset Management will own the design and standardization of logistics, spares, inventory and asset-tracking processes across every Crusoe Cloud site, from initial deployment through hardware decommission, and will build the cross-site operating model that keeps parts and assets moving reliably to support 24/7 white-space operations.
This is a builder role, you will define how logistics and asset management should work across a fast-growing, geographically distributed fleet, and you will be the connective tissue between site-level execution and factory/supply-chain operations.
Reporting StructureThis role reports to the Director, Cloud Site Operations and holds a dotted-line, functional relationship to each site's Logistics Coordinator; setting shared processes, tools, and performance standards for logistics and asset management across Crusoe Cloud Data Centers across the world.. Each Site Logistics Coordinator retains a solid-line reporting relationship to their local Site Manager for day-to-day direction and performance management. In short: this role sets the playbook, while site managers continue to run day-to-day site operations and people management.
What You'll Do- Define and standardize logistics, spares, and asset-management processes across all Crusoe Cloud production sites, including current colo sites and upcoming builds as the footprint expands
- Own the functional (dotted-line) relationship with each site's Logistics Coordinator - setting shared processes, tools, and performance standards while site managers retain day-to-day direction of those coordinators
- Govern the on-site parts depot / sparing model, including per-site sizing and scope, in partnership with site teams and vendor/sourcing partners
- Partner with Crusoe's Spark factory logistics and inventory teams (Brighton, CO) to align site-level logistics practices with upstream manufacturing and fulfillment processes
- Build and maintain asset-tracking standards and processes across sites, including physical inventory accuracy, reconciliation cadence, auditing, and system-of-record integrity
- Develop onboarding, training, and documentation so Site Logistics Coordinators can execute consistently regardless of site or region
- Establish KPIs and reporting for logistics and asset-management health across the site portfolio, and surface risks (stockouts, reconciliation gaps, process drift) to site and SiteOps leadership
- Support new-site standups by scoping logistics and asset-management requirements as part of site launch planning
- Travel to production sites as needed to assess local conditions, support coordinators directly, and validate that standardized processes are working in practice
What We're Looking ForRequired- Experience designing or running logistics, inventory, or asset-management programs across multiple physical sites or facilities
- Comfort operating in a dotted-line/matrixed structure; influencing and setting standards for people you don't directly manage
- Background in data center, manufacturing, warehouse, or supply-chain operations
- Experience building processes from scratch in a fast-growing or scaling environment, rather than optimizing an already-mature program
- Strong systems/process orientation, comfortable defining standards, documentation, and KPIs that others will execute against daily
- Willingness to travel regularly to global production sites
Preferred- Data center or GPU/compute hardware operations experience
- Experience partnering with manufacturing or factory logistics teams on upstream supply chain alignment
- Experience supporting new data center standups in a multi-site organization
LocationThis role is based out of Bellevue, Washington; San Francisco, California; or Denver, Colorado, with regular travel to Crusoe Cloud production sites globally.
