Job Overview

Sealed Air is seeking an experienced Manager, Integrated Logistics to lead shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow activities at our Hanover, PA manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, operational efficiency, and team performance while supporting production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control processes.
  • Monitor material flow to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
  • Drive on-time shipping performance and transportation efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to improve inventory turns and reduce waste.
  • Manage obsolete and surplus inventory programs.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to inventory, shipping, safety, and productivity.
  • Resolve shipping and customer service issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse and materials team members.
  • Manage departmental budgets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining low PPM throughout logistics in the side

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. (Degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Warehouse or Transportation roles
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff
  • Self-motivated team player who can act with minimal direction
  • Able to make effective presentations to diverse groups
  • Detail-oriented individual who is highly organized
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with MRP systems (SAP a plus), VMI, and Kanbans
  • Proficient in standard business office software
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good analytical and math skills
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Skilled in problem solving/systems analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industrial equipment assembly and metal fabrication industry.
  • Additional work experience in related materials management fields (e.g. Logistics, Purchasing, Planning, or Inventory Control)
  • Green Belt, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement training.
  • APICS certification.
